Ethics and Publishing Policies
The International Journal of Advanced Multidisciplinary Applications (IJAMA) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of ethical publishing and scholarly integrity. The journal follows strict guidelines to ensure transparency, accountability, and fairness throughout the publication process. Every stakeholder—authors, reviewers, and editors—plays a crucial role in upholding these values.
Responsibilities of Authors
Authors must submit only original research that has not been published or simultaneously submitted elsewhere. Proper acknowledgment of sources is essential, and plagiarism in any form is strictly prohibited. Data and results should be presented honestly and without fabrication, falsification, or inappropriate manipulation. Authors are also responsible for disclosing any potential conflicts of interest and for ensuring that all listed co-authors have contributed significantly to the work. Once a manuscript is submitted, authors are expected to cooperate fully with the editorial and peer-review process, responding promptly to revision requests and addressing reviewer comments in good faith.
Responsibilities of Reviewers and Editors
Peer reviewers are entrusted with the critical task of ensuring the quality and integrity of published research. They are expected to provide objective, constructive, and timely feedback that helps authors improve their work. Confidentiality must be respected, and reviewers should refrain from using unpublished material for personal advantage.
Editors oversee the entire review process with fairness and impartiality. They make publication decisions based solely on academic merit and the journal’s scope, without discrimination of any kind. Editors are responsible for safeguarding the integrity of the peer-review system, handling manuscripts confidentially, and taking appropriate action when ethical concerns or suspected misconduct arise.
Plagiarism, Misconduct and Retractions
IJAMA employs plagiarism detection tools to screen all submitted manuscripts. Submissions found to contain significant similarity with previously published work, or any evidence of falsified data, will be rejected immediately. In cases where misconduct is discovered after publication, the journal reserves the right to issue corrections, publish expressions of concern, or retract articles as necessary.
By adhering to these ethical practices, IJAMA ensures that the research it publishes contributes meaningfully to the global academic community and upholds the trust of its authors, readers, and partners.
